Just as with the general public, military personnel who abuse their children should be held accountable. Just because someone wears a uniform in the armed services, they should not be treated any differently but need to be subject to garnishment of their pay like everyone else.

In 2001 a bill was introduced in Congress, the Responsible Fatherhood Act of 2001. There’s now a new bill called the Responsible Fatherhood and Healthy Families Act of 2009 that has been introduced. The first one in 2001 was to provide grants to States to encourage media campaigns

When a child is violent, it is often common to put the cause of such behavior on the characteristics of where a child has grown up. If there is a lot of unemployment or crime in the neighborhood, it is assumed these risk factors are reasons for the child’s behavior.

Sexually offending juveniles are a major problem. When young boys are abused at home, and far too many are, they tend to act out their aggressions on innocent people that come across their path. Rates of juvenile sex offenders who have experienced sexual abuse as children reportedly range from 40-80%.[1]
